Private Team Cooking Class – April 28th

Join us for a private cooking class and dinner with wine in the heart of the Napa Valley’s premier culinary world.  You and your partner, spouse or guest are invited to join Tony and me for a private cooking class presented just for our gay police training group.  We will meet at the Napa Valley Cooking School and enjoy a hands-on class presented by our executive chef, Barbara Alexander.  “Chef B” as we call her has cooked professionally all over the world.  She has been the leader instructor and executive chef at the Napa Valley Cooking School for the last 16 years. The theme for the night is Mediterranean Grill! Check out the menu:

  • Live-Fire Hangar Steak marinated in Plum and Soy with Grilled Caesar
  • Fire-Grilled Rib Eye Cap with Board Dressing and Tomato Stuffed Peppers
  • Sous Vide New York Steaks with Green Peppercorn Sauce and Crushed Potatoes
  • Brined and Seared Pork Tenderloin with Fresh Corn Succotash
  • Warm Soft Chocolate Cake with Burnt Sugar & Bourbon

This is perfect timing for summer as you will leave with a menu and a set of recipes you can replicate for your own family and friends at home.  You don’t need to be a skilled chef.  Everyone, even those who don’t like to cook, will have a great time.  We will gather in the professional kitchen for some initial instruction.  We will break up in to some small teams, each assigned to actually prepare one of the dishes we will all eat.  You will get to see how all of the dishes are prepared.  Then the best part! We drink some wine and we all eat what we cooked.

Since this party is totally private and not open to the public, we need to secure reservations and payment ahead of time.  We need at least 14 people to make it happen, but have to limit the reservations to 22.

Cost:  $125 per person includes the class, dinner, wine and the recipes

Reservations are final and transferable to another member of our group, but non-refundable.  If you prefer to pay by check, you can make the check payable to Napa Valley College and send it directly to me.
